DREAM ERA...

PART: 1

1. Network hardware

It's me Areeb. I Love playing football and it's my hobby. The blog you are about to read is a school h.w. The main topic is about network and connections.

Submitted to : Suriy Akter.

So, let's start with 'what is network hardware?' So, network hardware are the thing we use with the network. It can be any sort of thing that can boost the network speed or the router and etc. We have done with 'what is network?' Now lets move on with a png:

So, here we can see router, switch, bridge, gateway, hub and may more. Let's see what are these. I mean the use of it. Let's see then:

1)Network cables: Connect devices to each other or to a computer. The type of cable used depends on the network's size, topology, and protocol. Common types include Ethernet, coaxial, and fiber optic cables.

2)Switches: Connect multiple devices into a single logical network segment. Switches reduce packet collisions and network congestion.

3)Routers: Divide a network into segments and direct traffic to other networks.

4)Gateways: Translate between different networks by adjusting transmission speeds and protocols.

5)Network Interface Cards (NICs): Allow endpoint devices to connect to a network.

6)Bridges: Combine network segments into a single logical segment.

So, I think this is enough about network hardware. So let's keep our skills and learn more about it.

PART: 2

 2. Network hardware that can connect with wires

So, some hardware can be connected with wires. Now the Q is 'how does it work.' We can see the previous png to understand this topic. So, in that png the hardware we see they are connected with wires. Also the network with wires have much speed then the wireless networks. So that's an advantage of the network with wires.  I also use network that has wires. So, let's see a pic of a network that has wires:

Here we can see that this network have wires. One more thing before we finish this topic and move on to the next. It is important to have proper cable for network reliability and performance. Defective cables or connectors can cause errors on connected devices. Network performance monitoring software can help identify and alert users to problems. So now let's see the next topic.

PART: 3

3. Network hardware that can connecting without wires

Some networks don't have wires. They connect without wires using radio signals and other technologies. Some of them are listed below:

1) Wireless router

2) Bluetooth

3) Mobile hotspots

4) Satellite

Now let's see a png:

In the png we can see the internet provider is connected  with the modem and the modem is connected with the router. Now the router is  connected with the computer.
 PART: 4
4. How data travels through network using cellular network

So, cellular networks are mostly known as mobile network. Let's see 'what is mobile network?' As we know mobile network, is a network that allows for wireless communication between devices. They look like mini and thin Eiffel tower to me. Now without going to other thing, let's see how does it look:

Here, in the png, we can see the black arrows and the red circles are indicating Antennas which provide network.
PART: 5
5Comparing different network connections

So, as far I know there are 3 kinds of network.
1) Wi-fi
2) Cellular
3) Ethernet

Now let's talk about Wi-fi first:
1) Wi-fi is better then cellular network in speed.
2) Wi-fi has a good range.
3) Wi-fi can be used personally and also with other people if you give them your
Wi-fi password.
4) Wi-fi also could be much better if you pay more to the network producer man/woman but not much as Ethernet.
5) Maximum Wi-fi get more then 2 mbps.

Let's talk about cellular network:
1) Cellular networks provide uninterrupted connectivity across different locations without fixed infrastructure.
2) Cellular network saves a lot of money.
3) Cellular network Consumes less power.
4) Cellular network give's high level security.
5) Cellular network is useful in adventure, when lost and many others.

Now, let's talk about Ethernet and then we will compare:
1) Ethernet is better then Wi-fi and cellular.
2) We can easily get more then 5 mbps.
3) Maximum good gamers use Ethernet so that they don't lose fps.
4) Ethernet also provide high level security.
5) I also use Ethernet and for me and some of my friends it is the best.

Comparing time

Wired                   :

Wireless                :

 FALSE

Range                   :

 Usually around 20m

 Usually around 5km

 100m

Speed                    :

 More then 2 mbps

 More then 0.5 mbps

 More then 5 mbps

Number of devices:

 30 per access point

 Between 60 and 1500

So, as we can see Cellular network is #1 and then Ethernet is #2 in the competition.

6. Internet Protocol (IP) address
Internet protocol is the numbers that shows the location of a website, house, shop and many more other places or sites.  They are always written in numbers.
EX: (23300058382512509341978540)
PART: 7
7. Transmitting data and about packets
Basically, the transmitting data refers to different routes. Transmitting data use a different route to reach the same destination. Kind of long cuts and short cuts in city. Now, let's see what are packets. Packets split up the data. Packets are small chunks of data and they are usually all the same size. Let's take a example:
PART: 8
8. Advantages and disadvantages of packets

 ADVANTAGES

 DISADVANTAGES

1. Packets do not take up as much bandwidth, so they can be sent along a greater variety of connections.

1. Packets can get lost and the sender computer might have to send a copy of the packet.

2. Smaller packets are less likely to get delayed along a network.

2. You need to give the ip address of the places.

PART: 9
9. What happens if packets are lost
Sometimes, packets get lost. Now, think a packet is lost and we want to recover it. First of all the receiver computer sends a message to the sender computer. He asks to send another copy of the packet. Next the packet arrives at the receiver computer and he organize the packet.
PART: 10
10.  Accessing websites
A website is stored on a web server. A web server stores all of pages for a website, and the IP address of the website .Web servers are connected to the internet.
To access a web server using internet:

1) You type a web address into your web browser. Another name for web address is a uniform resource locator, or URL for short. The URL is written using text.
EX: www.cambridge.org

2) Your web browser connects to the web server using the internet.

3) Because computers only understand numbers, the URL is converted into and IP address.

4) The web browser gives the web server the IP address for the website you want. This address tells the web browser were the website is stored on the web server.

5) The web server checks that the web page is there, and then  sends the data back to the web browser that asked for it.

Computers use IP addresses for website because they only understand number. Humans use a URL because it is much easier to remember than a lot of numbers!
PART: 11
11. The Internet and cloud storage
So, we know about internet, it is a collection of connections between devices. Now, let's talk about cloud storage. So, cloud storage allows you to save your files and data on someone else's computer. Big companies like Nvidia have a huge server which has lots of storage space. They allow Nvidia to use some of their storage space. Now you now what is cloud storage.
PART: 12
12. Minor network failures and large network failures
First let's talk about minor network failures. When a connection breaks, it stops working and data cannot travel along this route. Because the internet is made up of many connections and networks all linked together, the data can use a different route to reach its destination. I know this is a bit confusing so I will show a png:
Here, the red line had a block so the red line had to go above it. So, minor network can be fixed automatically.
Now let's talk about large network failures. Like the minor network failures the large network failure's connection can also break. Sometimes you may notice that the service you use stops working or becomes very slow. If there is any large issue in the country, lot's of connection can fail at the same time. Also sometimes big failures are caused by a single connection failing. Let's see a png:
Here, the guy is turning off the main switch and this can disallowed all the other connections in the country.

So, this is all about network and connection.
